The Aruba 510 Series Campus APs ( AP-514 and AP-515) are high-performance, multi-radio wireless devices that can be deployed in either controller-based ( ArubaOS) or controller less ( Aruba Instant) network environments. This technology improves spectrum efficiency and area throughput in dense deployment scenarios of APs or stations in both indoorĪnd outdoor environments. IEEE 802.11ax, also known as High-Efficiency WLAN (HEW), is a multi-gigabit Wi-Fi technology that allows managed devices to communicate on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. This technology comprises of two radios, 5 GHz and 60 GHz. IEEE 802.11ad, also known as WiGig, is a multi-gigabit Wi-Fi technology that allows managed devices to communicate at multi-Gigabit speeds over a 60 GHz frequency band.
